Announcement: We are hiring music annotators! This summer, we need several music graduate students to be annotators for the SALAMI project. Annotators will fulfill an integral role in the project: actually listening to and analyzing the pieces of music.

Listening and annotation will be done using Sonic Visualizer, an easy-to-use analysis environment. We will provide workstations on campus; however, since the software is freely available, annotators will be free to work from home. Pay will be approximately $12 per hour.

Interested applicants should respond with a CV to Ashley Burgoyne (ashley@music.mcgill.ca) by Monday, April 19th 2010. Applicants will be invited to a paid audition.
